Dr. Reid was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but grew up in the small town of East Granby, Connecticut.  He had decided that Veterinary medicine was his passion ever since high school  He attended undergraduate classes at Louisiana State University and obtained his doctorate at the LSU School of Veterinary medicine in May of 1981.  After Graduating, he came to the Connecticut and entered into private practice in Storrs, Bristol and Wallingford before settling in Trumbull at Mobile Veterinary Clinic in August 1987.

 


bri and hippoDr. Brianna Reid Favret:

Dr. Brianna Reid Favret was raised in Seymour, CT.  She was raised around veterinary medicine and enjoyed looking at cells under the microscope with her father as a child. She worked in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant in high school. She attended Louisiana State University. She graduated as university medalist with a BS in Animal Science. Brianna graduated from LSU School of Veterinary medicine  May 2014 at the top of her class. She began  practicing at Mobile Veterinary Clinic in June 2014 after driving across the country with her husband and dog, Hippo. Dr. Reid Favret enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has special interests in neurology, internal medicine, and physical therapy. Out side of the clinic, Brianna enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, family and friends, and of course her dog, Hippo, and listening to music

 


 

Dr. Andrew PickersteinDr. P and Millie with Raven

Dr. Andrew Pickerstein was raised in Fairfield, CT.  He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and then the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  Dr. Pickerstein has practiced in multiple veterinary offices in the state of Connecticut.  First as a general practitioner in Norwalk, then as an emergency room vet in Cheshire and, most recently, as medical director in Danbury.  This has provided him with valuable experience with a variety of different species and medical conditions.  His current interests include emergency medicine, dermatology, and critical care.  Dr. Pickerstein currently lives in New Haven with his 3 children, his girlfriend, and a pug named Rex.
