Meet the caring and compassionate veterinary care team and Mobile Veterinary Clinic
Head Veterinary Technician
Stephanie joined our staff after some time at Newtown Veterinary Specialists. She has been a veterinary technician for 13 years now. Out of all the people she has worked with, though, Stephanie likes to call our staff her favorite. When she is not working, Stephanie likes to spend time with her husband and two kids, go horseback riding at a local ranch, and take long walks on the beach. She has four cats and a dog.
Amanda started out working as a Kennel Assistant part-time and now she’s worked her way up to a part-time Technician Assistant. Her favorite things about working at the office are helping animals recover from surgery, and playing with the puppies and kittens that come in to visit! Amanda has certification for dental assisting but is furthering her education to become a dental hygienist. Always smiling she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and taking long walks on the beach. She has two dogs; Cooper, a yellow lab, and Tazz, a toy fox terrier.
Kennel Assistant/Veterinary Assistant
My name is Susan and I am a veterinarian assistant, kennel attendant and groomer. I have a beautiful daughter who’s starting college and a bunch of cute cats and dogs.
Born and raised in Cooperstown, New York, Jill moved to Connecticut in 2010 with her husband. The two met in 2004 at a small college in upstate NY where Jill studied Business Administration. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking/baking and spending time with family and friends. Jill has one dog at home, Dougie, a spunky Labrador Retriever with unlimited energy. Jill’s favorite aspects of working at Mobile Vet are working with her caring and compassionate co-workers and visiting with our furry friends on a daily basis.
Jen has been a professional pet stylist since 1983, and has experience helping all breeds of dogs and cats look and feel their best. In addition to grooming, Jen is a professional dog trainer, and is the author of “The Everything Dog Obedience Book”. She has also worked as a veterinary technician and veterinary office manager. She is also certified in Canine Trigger Point Myotherapy/Massage. In her spare time, she trains and competes with her dogs in Obedience, Agility, Rally and Nosework trials, and enjoys a variety of fitness pursuits. Jen lives in Stratford with her Pugs, cat, lizard, fish and usually a foster dog or 2.
Shanon joined the Mobile Vet Team in 2017 and has been working as a Veterinary Technician for over 15 years. Shanon graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science. Originally from Stratford, Shanon currently resides in Seymour along with her teenage son, three fluffy pups, a menagerie of reptiles and Mango the hamster. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing by the pool and gardening.
Megan has been with Mobile Veterinary Clinic since 2015. Her favorite animals are hyenas and vultures, and she loves spending time writing, gaming, or hiking with her 2-year-old Lab mix, Buddy.
Carmen has been at Mobile Veterinary Clinic for almost a year. She is a very work dedicated individual who loves all animals and dreams of one day moving up in the veterinary field. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, long walks, swimming and hanging out with friends and family. Carmen has been with her husband since 2009, and even though the two have no children of their own together, they do have 2 furry friends that they consider nothing less than their children. “Fuego” is an 8 year old Jeep Red and Yellow John pit bull that was given to them after the sudden loss of “Canela”, their first puppy as a couple. “Gia” is 3 years old and is the daughter of Fuego, who the couple could not resist having after they witnessed his first daughter being born. Carmen rates MVC as the best veterinary clinic she has yet to work for and is looking forward to many more years here with us.
Jonah has been working in the veterinary field for 8 years. He has two cats at home, Shiva and T’Challa. “Never apologize for your giant dog jumping on me. If I get taken down by 150lbs of fluff, that’s how I go.”
Hi, my name is Lynda. I have been working for Mobile Veterinary Clinic for 11 years now, I only work at the clinic on the weekends. During the week I am a nanny for two beautiful girls named Clover and Arden. I have 2 sons, Dale and Brandon age 26 and 24.
I absolutely love animals. Miss Kay, a Golden Retriever, is my dog along with 5 cats. People say that I am a crazy cat lady, I don’t argue with that.
Lisa is a Certified Veterinary Technician that has been working in the field since 2001. She enjoys bass fishing, blues music and training her Australian Shepherd, Opal, for sheepdog trial.
Catherine is a Certified Veterinary Technician and a Certified Fear Free Professional. By day she works at Mobile Veterinary Clinic, and by night she studies Herbalism. In her free time she enjoys reading and writing, binge-watching television series, and avoiding all physical activity. You are likely to find her in her natural habitat, the library. Her fur-baby is a 14 year old diabetic feline named Gabby, who, like her owner, enjoys napping and food.
Years of Grooming Experience: 18
Heather has been in the pet industry since she was 17. She began her career working with animals at a small mom and pop pet shop before going to CT K9 Education Center to attend their dog grooming program and become certified to work as a full time pet groomer. While on her journey she’s worked in various salons and kennels learning new techniques along the way. Heather has also worked as a receptionist and kennel staff for Mobile Vet Clinic as well as a groomer. To date, she has been working solely as a full time pet groomer. She shares her home with 3 dogs, a cat, a bearded dragon and her husband.
Sara joined the staff at Mobile Veterinary Clinic in June of 2017 as a kennel attendant. Shortly after she was asked to help out in the clinic and quickly fell in love with the veterinary field. Her favorite thing about the job is comforting scared pets and showing them compassion while they are getting treatment.
Kenya is our new recruit at Mobile Vet. She just recently moved here from Puerto Rico and enjoys spending time with family and finding adventurous things to do on her free time. Kenya is excited to see what her future with Mobile Veterinary Clinic has in store for her.
Stephanie recently joined our staff after some time at Newtown Veterinary Specialists.

Honesty, Integrity, and Compassion
“Be humble in your confidence yet courageous in your character.” – Melanie Konlouris
I’ve been a Vet Tech since 2004. I’ve worked in both E.R. and G.P.
I have a large family that I adore.
I’ve been married since 2006.
Together we have two dogs – Hogan Joseph and Autumn Shea, three red-eared sliders Wilma, Roxy, and Tiny Tim, and finally Yuki Hanso San my crested gecko.
When I’m not working, I’m tending to my plants, animals, cooking, reading/working on my craft or watching movies.
If I wasn’t a vet tech, I could/would be in law enforcement, have a rescue farm/sanctuary or rehabilitating shelter dogs.
